For more than 30 years Heart4Mexico has witnessed God change lives across Tepic and beyond.
From children finding safety at Nana’s House to prisoners discovering freedom in Christ, these are just a few of the stories of hope unfolding every day.
Hugo first encountered the gospel through our prison ministry in Tepic. While behind bars, his life began to change as he discovered the hope found in Christ.
After his release, Hugo came straight to the church—not asking for anything, but offering to serve. Out of gratitude he cleaned, repaired, and helped wherever he was needed.
Before long Hugo became one of the most trusted servants in the ministry.
Today, together with his wife Taña, Hugo directs the Nana’s House Boys’ Home. In addition, he leads outreach teams into six rehabilitation centers in Tepic, bringing hope to men searching for freedom.
The same message that transformed Hugo’s life is now transforming others.
Lucero arrived at Nana’s House carrying the weight of a difficult childhood. Surrounded by loving caregivers and a stable home, she began to heal.
Today she is thriving in school, building friendships, and discovering the love of God.
At Nana’s House, children who once felt forgotten are discovering that their lives matter.
Diego’s Future
When Diego first came to Nana’s House, he struggled with fear and insecurity. With encouragement, mentorship, and a safe place to grow, his confidence began to blossom.
Today Diego is full of joy and dreams about the future. Soon he will graduate from Law School.
Nana’s House exists so children like Diego can grow up surrounded by love, faith, and opportunity.
Pantanal is a community marked by poverty and crime. For many years, it had never known the presence of a life-giving church.
Through faithful outreach, prayer, and discipleship, a small group of believers began gathering in the neighborhood. What started quietly soon began to grow as families discovered hope and a new sense of community.
Today, families gather each week for worship, prayer, and teaching. Children who once wandered the streets now fill the kids’ clubs, laughing, learning, and hearing about the love of God.
What began as a small gathering has become a thriving La Fuente church—bringing light and hope to Pantanal.
La Fuente Puga, located just outside of Tepic, is a town marked by both deep struggles and remarkable possibilities.
Under the leadership of new pastors Carson and Kim, the church is entering an exciting new season. The ministry is expanding, including the construction of a second floor to create more space for the growing congregation.
At the same time, the church is reaching more children through Kids Clubs and serving some of the neediest families in the community.
Week by week, people are learning how to worship, pray, and receive the Word of God. What was once a small work is becoming a vibrant place of faith and hope for the community of Puga.
